He would probably sell more if he listed them on his website HF driver products page:
Great Plains Audio's HF Drivers
I love mine. They have replaced the 288s and are holding their own. They sound amazing.

I would suggest they stop doing their series. I have thought about this for a couple of years as I watched ebay. I kept seeing GPA 604 then it was 604 series2 then 604 series 3. It makes it sound like whoever bought series 1 and 2 are gonna feel like they didn't get the best design possible. And their ability to resell them will drop like a rock because there were better ones made and out there.

Yeah, but making customers feel that last year's product is somehow inferior to this year's has been going on forever. The golf industry has mastered it. It's good marketing, whether it's true or not.

This has always been the case. There has to be the appearance of improvements from year to year.Altec did it their entire history.I doubt there is very much difference WRT the 802-8G's or any of the other drivers.. You can't improve perfection !
On the 604 the change was with the HF horn between the 604-8H II and the 604-8H III.

I would much rather have the GPA's. But for any with limited budgets(me included)...then 808 8b's plus light phragms do just fine!
